gov/job/758676900 TO APPLY Duties Serves as Chief Business and Recreation Division, and as such plans, manages, directs, coordinates and supervises the functions, programs and activities of the division and performs delegated personnel management responsibilities.
Functions, programs, and activities include but not limited to Leisure Travel, Sports and Fitness, Automotive Skills, Outdoor Recreation, Food and Beverage- snack bar and lounge, special events and concessionaire activities.
Determines overall local policies for providing business and recreation services.
Determines program requirements and ensures that pertinent regulations and directives are implemented.
Evaluates the effectiveness of programs in terms of mission accomplishment; procedural, policy, and regulatory compliance; quality and quantity of service; and profitability and recommends changes.
Establishes standards for programs, develops and implements internal control, and reviews and evaluates the efficiency of all program operations.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

A one year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications Progressively responsible experience performing related duties, which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of this position.
Experience in a supervisory capacity is mandatory.
Knowledge of the goals, concepts and techniques of a community activities program, including recreation, sports, entertainment and art, and of general management and business operations of various facilities is required.
Five years experience in formulating and executing APF and NAF budgets is desirable.
Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay.
When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
